Iranian film ‘Darkhoungah’ running for awards at the 37th Fajr Film Festival has revealed poster.

A number of the cast, including Amin Hayaee and vocalist of the movie’s song, Reza Yazdani, attended the unveiling ceremony in Darkhoungah neighborhood.

Directed by Siavash As'adi and produced by Mansour Sohrabpour, ‘Darkhoungah’ has a social theme.

In addition to Hayaee, Mehraveh Sharifinia, Jaleh Sameti, Nader Fallah, Mahmoud Jafari, Mansour Shahbazi, Afshin Sangchap, Fatemeh Mortazi, Pantea Panahiha, Ali Ostadi, and Jamshid Hashempour are among the cast.

Darkhoungah is the name of an old neighborhood in Tehran which is located in southern part of the Iranian capital.

Established in 1982, the Fajr Film Festival is an event that celebrates cultural exchange, displays creative achievements of highly acclaimed cineastes and pays tribute to local and international films.

Since its establishment, the festival has played a vital role in the development of the Iranian Cinema.

Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran and across the world every year.
